He had stalked for days, but prey was hard to find. The deer were distant, the rabbits were hidden, and even the birds had flown south for shelter.
Frustrated, Shadow sat on a windswept hilltop, staring into the emptiness. The gnawing ache was becoming unbearable. He needed to eat, and he needed to eat right away.

Once upon a time, in a green filled with chirping birds, lived a sweet little girl known as Red Riding Hood. One sunny day, her mama gave her a basket full of yummy treats for her grandmother. Red Riding Hood skipped happily through the lush trees, humming a cheerful tune. Out of nowhere, she came across a gray wolf with piercing eyes. He asked Red Riding Hood where she was traveling.

Once upon a time, there were three little pigs who decided to build their own houses. A big bad wolf came along and tried to blow down each/all/every one of the houses. He huffed and he puffed, but he failed to blow down the brick house. The three little pigs were very happy that their houses were strong enough to protect them from the wolf.
The first/That pig learned his lesson and decided to build a new house out of wood, the second/Another pig built a house out of stone, and the third pig stayed in his brick house. The big bad wolf came back again, but he couldn't blow down any of the houses this time. He was very angry and went away. The three little pigs lived happily ever after in their safe and sound houses.
